Positive section of review
This is a nice little detached house tucked away around the the corner from the popular Barnard's Green area of Great Malvern. It is also possible to walk into the centre of town from the house - uphill on the way and downhill on the way back. The entire house was spotlessly clean and quite cozy. Two bedrooms ( a double and two singles) are built under the rafters, as is the bathroom. The rear of the property looks out over the extensive playing fields of the college and you can even have a walk around this quiet, stunning area via the garden gate. From the playing fields you also have tremendous views over the property to the Malvern Hills themselves. It was also a really easy location to drive to as it is on the south side of Malvern and away from the main tourist traffic.

I had to walk all around the building looking for the key lockbox as we weren't informed of the location and it is not visible from the driveway/front of the building. The driveway parking itself is very short - my estate car had it's rear bumper sticking out onto the pavement. Be aware that the bedrooms and bathroom are built under the sloping roofline - plenty of accidental head bumping occurred, especially getting out of the bath. The doors are all wooden shed fittings with lifting latches - very rustic but noisy and annoying. The house was littered with stickers telling you which windows could be opened and which could not, how to turn the heating thermostat dial (!), where to put the keys when not in use. There was even a note explaining that there was no toaster because it was broken and that a new one had been ordered, and in the meantime we could use the grill. Perhaps a better idea would be to spend £15 on a cheap toaster as a stop-gap measure ?

The location was fantastic, nice walk down to the beach, few choices of eateries and coffee down there. Freshly cooked breakfast every morning which you choose on the morning for the next day with a good selection to choose from. The hosts John and Linda were brilliant and lovely and cannot do enough for you, there knowledge of the area really helps especially if you choose to use the bus which stops not far from the place.
