We love the fact that this home came with 2 bathrooms meaning we could get ready a lot faster. The location was also a bonus as we were able to walk to most of the tourist attractions. This apartment having an outdoor section but also the indoor garden was beautiful. This apartment had all the perks of an apartment but also the perks of a hotel. We loved being able to have a home away from home.

One of our fresh towels were dirty and so was the bathroom slippers - most likely they forgot to pick them up. Remote for the tv also needed new batteries but easily fixed as they had another remote.

Great location, easy access to public transport to get all around the island, and walkable to beach and town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely big room with a sea view. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast was from 8-9.30, a bit early for us while on holiday. The bathroom was badly laid out, with the toilet in a small, tight space between a wall, the shower and a very hot towel rail. The shower was open on one side and had a leaky hose, leading to splashes and wet towels.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The flat is a little gem. Clean and very comfortable. Perfect location for lego land and Windsor Castle.

The rest of the shore hotel was closed and you had to walk down the road to The Kirkwall Hotel to use their facilities, our room looked onto a brick wall, so was quite dark without a light on. Expensive.
