  We stayed here to attend a family funeral for 2 night. In room 5. Clean and spacious with all we needed. (Kettle, coffee, tee etc) loved having a bath. Bed very comfortable and slept great.Didn't eat at the property, only breakfast (meals looked good though) as we were meeting up with family. Continental breakfast was great 👍 with lots of extras, which we were surprised about as normally its a cooked breakfast when we stay somewhere, but Continental was fab.

  No fault of this hotel but getting a taxi in this area was horrendous, tried 6 taxi numbers with no joy. Staff at hotel finally got one booked for us to arrive at 2pm, 2.40pm and no taxi appeared. We were going to a funeral and panicked as we would have been late. Thankfully a lovely young man from the funeral came for us. Thank the lord 🙏 Be aware of this when you stay and be organised before you go. As I said, no reflection on the hotel .

  friendly greeting on arrival, managed to park right outside. we had a room right at the top which gave us the best views ever, a big wow from both of us. can't fault the hotel in any way. breakfast was excellent. all the staff were great. we will definitely be going back.

  Room size was fine. Shower good. Parking OK if you get one of the two spaces.

  Bed was barely fit for purpose. Far too small for an adult and not big enough really to be called a single. The mattress felt convex and each time I woke up and rolled over it felt like I could fall out. The shelf in the bathroom is in the worse possible place, ie immediately above the small basin. This stops you from bending over and washing your face/interferes with shaving, cleaning your teeth etc.
