What a beautiful place to stay. Absolutely picturesque. The hotel was stunning. We had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The staff couldn't do enough for you. They were very pleasant and had exceptional people skills. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Our suite was luxurious with a comfortable, clean bed and stunning decor. The stand-alone bath was a very romantic touch. The room was very spacious, and we had all the complimentary toiletries we needed. The food was lovely with a great variety to choose from. The service was excellent. We will definitely be booking a room again. An absolute must stay for anyone looking for an ideal getaway.

The space of the property was great and the majority of the apartment was lovely and clean. Owner communicated in plenty of time about the issues with the elevators being out of use and having to climb the stairs. The video on how to get to the apartment was really useful.

There were no pillowcases on any of the pillows in the bedroom, the pillows themselves were marked and stained and so we slept without any - always put pillowcases on your pillows for hygiene reasons if anything There was no plug in the kitchen sink to wash dishes properly - some of the items we took out of the cupboards looked like they had not been washed properly There were areas particularly in the hallway where there was excess dust,cobwebs. We could tell that new mirrors had been put up, but the dust from the wall had not been cleaned up after. The fridge was so cold, when we took our milk out in the morning it had frozen solid.

A very classic hotel, feels like something out of the early 1900’s which I loved, lovely little touches and details. Great location too! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food at dinner was lovely too!

We booked a room with a whirlpool. We were under the impression that this would be big enough for 2 people as shown in the photos, but it was only for one person. It also wasn’t very clean, still hairs stuck to the bottom of it which we had to clean out before we could use it. And the jets in the ‘whirlpool’ bath were not very powerful at all so we were disappointed with that. The mattress was thin and lumpy, I woke up with a terrible back ache. And it was a 4 poster bed that wobbled and creaked every time we even slightly moved in bed. The breakfast wasn’t great, there were black hairs all over our table cloth, the croissants weren’t real croissants, they were the packaged, dry ones. And they don’t serve beans with their cooked breakfast. I also didn’t feel like there was much choice or variety.

Small niggle. Shower head didn't fit on to hose properly (couldn't be tightened) so much water coming out of the join. Also was at the wrong angle too work overhead so had to hold it instead. But we managed OK.

The location by the river is nice and very close to the city center and its commodities.

A real journey through the past: old furniture, worn out bathroom , noisy air conditioning, carpet full of all the biological remains of the previous customers, low definition TV... They called a taxi for me that never showed up... It's a terrible quality/ price ratio. .

Had not been cleaned properly found crisps under table in lounge area, outdoor spaces not cleaned found cigarette stubs and some slates were broken, could not open doors to outside spaces due to security tags on doors. Thought I had paid for 2 ensuite rooms but only one was.

Having to pay a cash deposit and then get someone to check the room before I left. I lay most criticism at Booking because the information about this was not obvious, it was way down in the terms and conditions. The lady that booked me in was very helpful and resolved it for me. I was woken however as the person next to me left at 5.30am and the check out process was noisy
