The list of positives to this beautiful place is long, so here's a snapshot: Amazing hosts. Beautiful views Quiet and secluded. Amazingly dark at night. Spotless amenities - cooker/sink/bathroom/dining area/loo etc. A hot hot tub with plenty of space. The caravan itself is just a beautiful little place, simple but beautifully executed and delightfully decorated. The whole area that you have for your stay is well thought out and all yours. Pretty much perfect for a secluded and peaceful get away.

This is not a critisim at all (there is noting to critisie at all about this place), but be aware the hot tub is a log-fired one and can take a few hours to warm up. That's not a problem at all, infact it's fun setting your fire then looking after it. Plus our host did tell us this on their hello tour and showed us what to do.

Brilliant location in the heart of the Lake District, 35 min drive from Scafell Pike car park. My room was immaculately clean, with huge bathroom. My dog was welcomed to the hotel. The dining room had amazing facilities so I could cook my meals the way I do it at home. It’s also spacious and very clean. I so much enjoyed staying in this place, thanks a lot to the owners for offering such great facilities! I’ll definitely return again!

Busy residential area. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and small store just outside door. On (side) street parking and beds were fine.

In an email ahead of arrival, it was mentioned to expect basic wear & tear of the property. That was a first in all the places I’ve stayed and was indeed a “warning” but of course, this was only mentioned after full payment was made. The upholstery on the sofas and kitchen chairs was disgustingly filthy. You didn’t even want to sit on them but that only left you with incredibly uncomfortable dining table chairs. One sofa was broken as were the blinds on the doors to the patio area. The patio area itself was unkept with rubbish and building supplies left lying around. There was a cable to the WiFi router taped to the entry way floor and the router and a power strip were just lying there. Both were trip hazards. The entire apartment smelled like curry. About 15 mins after entering there was a knock on the door from the cleaner. She needed our flat key to unlock the supply room door? Just bizarre. Lifting the sofa to retrieve bedding for the sofa bed and I found a duvet and pillows covered in stains. Of course after my stay, I was hounded by the company that runs this building asking me to leave a good review but if it was a bad review, to contact them directly. I emailed them to tell them about everything I’ve written here and no one ever got back in touch. They obviously don’t want to hear the truth nor do they want to actually do anything about the issues raised.

The host was very kind and welcoming. It is one of the best BNBs that I've stayed in so far. Very clean, Big and very close to the beach.

Ideal location with lovely views and it was very nice for all bedrooms to have their own en-suites. Lovely area for relaxing and socialising.

There was no parking space (the parking lot is small, only 3 cars). We arrived in the evening and spent almost an hour looking for a place in nearby parking lots

Still had winter duvet, and couldnt leave windows open to allow cool air in due to very heavy/noisey traffic going on all night. Shower was exceptionally powerful.

Only one shower room for two room apt. One family had little difficulty . And the outside wind blow is severe
