Central Location. Perfect for walks around Keswick and surrounding areas. Once parked up you don't have to move the car everything is within a 5/10 minute walk. Easy to find, easy to get in to and the house was perfect for what we needed.

We were passing through on a road trip in a classic Porsche, so only stopped for the night. The hosts were great, very informative and friendly, the room and facilities were great. Very enjoyable stay. Will be back!

My room was good and the view out of the window was of the sea and the church. The hotel has a patio on the beach which is wonderful to sit on with a beer and a bite to eat. Staff were friendly.

The view from the room also overlooked the bins and kitchen extractor fans this wasn’t too bad but also not great. Everything quite basic but it is a beachside, pub style of hotel.

A lot. Noise - the window doesn’t shut properly, the property is on the main road. Building works done directly outside the house starting 8am. No soundproofing - the next door is like inside your room, doors slamming, TV sound, talking, housekeeping hoovering. People next door just walking around and the walls are shaking. No space - the room is tiny, you can barely walk around bed, upstairs is accessible by literally ladders - the stairs are very steep and can be dangerous. No storage - no shelf in the bathroom, so all the toiletries had to be on the floor. No hooks to hang the clothes on, again, everything went on the floor. No bedside cabinets or shelves, one tiny one on one side for the phone. I stayed in room 14 - split level. It has a “balcony”, which apparently is shared with the next door, one table and two chairs only, no partition, so whoever is outside can see inside the other accommodation. The state of the balcony and the table and chairs is terrible, rusty and dirty, cracks on the walls, some industrial dust on the floor . It could be a lovely terrace for a sunny day with some plants on it instead it’s just a put off and for the privacy you want to keep the blinds on. Photos attached. Shower - the overhead shower is broken, the water spraying everywhere, can’t be used. The hand shower has a leak from the hose pipe so the pressure is weak. I was curious and went into the previous reviews, and found all the same problems being stated by another guests in different times which means no one cared to fix them! It’s all there, mentioned by different people. Could be a brilliant place, shame.
