We loved the breakfast, it was varied and wholesome. The swimming pool was so nice, being able to see outside whilst being indoors is a great feeling. The fact the hotel is so close to the station was a plus!

The egg yolks were not runny at breakfast, and the coffee was weak. Otherwise very good. Supper was good, too. Room was excellent, though an uninspiring view from the window.

Gas cooker and electric oven straight forward to use, alternative bath to the faulty ensuite shower. Liked access to two toilets.

Unable to work central heating or have written instructions. Rang Angelika three times for all my needs or information.Curtains were see through so not much privacy with my 3 children. No stick to blind in kitchen had to get a chair to tilt and close. Dining chairs are very warn, and wobbly to sit on. No idea how to work sofa bed.Had to ring to to check which car park bay we could park in. Gates to car park were open all evening. No security for car except our own even though we had a key fob. Some street noise of local residents shouting at 4am. Faulty ensuite shower was unable to change temperature from very hot so used a hose shower over bath to shower No shower curtain. Unlocked access doors to building.Intercom didn't seem to work.

The shared facility with permanent residents meant the house was up and busy from 6 am. Also the shared bathroom opened onto the dining area which felt a little uncomfortable.
