Positive section of review
The location was very convenient with a five minute walk to Bayswater tube station and a couple of minutes further to Queensway. Notting Hill was not that far away and there appeared to be lots of bus services. The area was well served by pubs and restaurants of multiple ethnicities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our room and the hotel were very clean and well maintained. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The room was a little small but this is standard for London and the hotel is in an old converted building, Having said that that the bathroom was very good with an excellent shower.

The property was in a fantastic location (albeit it a little noisy, though that wasn’t an issue for us and was expected given it was in the heart of SoHo). The property was very clean and communication with the host was fantastic.

The shower unfortunately oscillated between 20 degrees and 52 degrees all within a minute or two which made showering a little difficult.

The Lakes at Rookley is very central for the Isle of Wight. The staff are very welcoming. The outdoor areas are kept clean.

The cabins could do with a good deep clean inside and out. You don't get a lake view because the trees have been allowed to grow in the way. Lightbulbs didn't work. No WiFi in cabins and the mobile signal isn't great, this is 2024, c'mon!! Kitchen equipment is very basic, knives are blunt and frankly dangerous. Light is not kept out of the rooms, there's sun coming in at 5am

Peace and quiet and superb location. Parking of a car in the road is convenient and safe.

Bed was comfortable and managed to catch up on sleep. Breakfast is convenient and is perfect for me. Cereal, toast coffee. Laid out delightfully. The host was very pleasant and welcoming. Lovely en-suite despite the awkward head height by the toilet. Excellent, though. Towels provided were quality.

We was woken up by the towel service at 11.30 pm we did not order the towels, we had a very hard day and was very tired
