Room large. Beds very comfortable. Tea,coffee and kettle in the room. Good location for train station and town. Bars opposite for those who liked a drink. Good sized television in the room. Room was good value for what we paid- basic but clean. Able to leave luggage before check in and after check out.

Could not fault property nice and clean plenty of kitchen utensils shower hot and lots of pressure if am picky then back garden could do with the grass cutting and an Ariel in our room would defo stay again if working back in hull defo value for money !!

Staff helped carry bags up and down to the room which was 2 floors up and no lift. No twin beds as requested but a very large double bed. The evening meal was good, the staff wehelpful and attentive the chicken tempura generous portion for a starter

There was nowhere to put clothes - glad we were only staying 1 night. The 'wardrobe' was a small open space above the kettle..There was only 1 teabag and 1 biscuit although there were 2 mugs. In the bathroom the water took an age to run hot and the shower was the worst ever expreienced just a dribble which kept stopping. The bathroom door had a spring which made the door bang loudly as it closed however carefully you tried to close it and the noise was also disturbing at 2 am from the adjoining room when a couple arrived late at night.The cost of breakfast was £16 or £13 if ordered in advance, we wanted just a small continental breakfast or a boiled egg but were told that there was no continental option the breakfast was a buffet and had to be paid for in full whatever we ate or didn't eat. Long queues for the tea or coffee making machine and televisions and music blared out of the breakfast room making the whole experience very unpleasant

All lovely. But advise the elderly there are a great number os steps and stairs. Also would recommend a bath/ shower mat.
