The host was exceptional friendly and obliging. We accidentally left my husband's walking stick behind and when I contacted them about it he immediately said he would put it in the post next day. The room was clean and comfortable. Well equipped with what we needed.

Initially put off by outside appearance and the noisy bar in the front. But the room was pleasant and had a bath which we prefer although the shower over the bath was also good. Plenty of power points but had to move the kettle to bedside table in order to reach power point. Could be a safety hazard. Certainly needs some redecoration and modernisation but perfectly comfortable for a one night stay. Near to several restaurants.

It was an ideal location for a group of 9 walkers on the Hadrian’s Wall Path from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend Newcastle. Great rooms, great food and brilliant staff. You were all brilliant. Especially Olivia!! Well done young lady

Everything about Dunsford was brilliant. The hosts Debbie and Keith were fab, nothing to much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast amazing, room spotlessly clean, location spot on.

I can honestly say there was nothing to dislike. Will definitely go back there.

It was very cozy. Very good food and lovely staff. Great atmosphere in pub area and in local village for a walk. Fantastic price for stopover.

Could hear people walking upstairs. My dinner, which was lovely, took 50 minutes to arrive. Not a big deal but I was hungry after long, long drive. And breakfast is continental, not full English. But can’t complain too much for the amazing price.

Raw sewage spirting out of the downpipe that came from the toilet the shower and the sink. The drain from the kitchen sink was blocked solid so every time the sink was used it meant that the backyard filled up with dirty water mixed with the sewage from the downpipe from upstairs. The thresholds upstairs were not fitted properly and the metal that the thresholds were made from was very very poor quality metal and what happened is when you stood on the metal threshold it pushed it down because it was over carpet but yet the screws stayed prominent. It actually hurt my foot, which is what drew my attention to it, there was several lights with no bulbs in and no replacements. There was even a lamp on the landing that was placed where there was no socket to plug it into. The area as well was not good one night we were able to get to sleep until after 2:30 in the morning as there were loud voices coming from a couple of doors away, people screaming and shouting and also having a bonfire
