Very spacious comfortable bungalow. Quiet location but close to the beach and about 20 minute stroll into Sutton on Sea either along the promenade/beach or along the public footpath at the rear of the dunes. Bungalow was equipped and we had a very relaxing stay

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff were helpful and very pleasant to us. Grounds were beautiful. Liked the balcony in room especially as we had great weather. Room was large and spacious.Staff in bar area couldn't have done more for us.
Negative section of review
Room was basically clean but bath had lots of flies and dust in it. Shower curtain was stained and curtains to balcony were stained. Food tasted good, when it came. It was however not overly warm. Restaurant was chaos, each night. We witnessed main courses appearing before starters on numerous occasions. Restaurant manager did try to resolve issues.pool was cold and jacuzzi wasn't working at all.

The keys were ready for us in the door. The location is amazing. Lovely walks near by. The lodge was just perfect for us and some munch needed time away from the world

Extremely rude member of staff checked us in - was taken aback. No welcome/hello, no eye contact, no chat. Sullen and rude

The Hotel was in quite a rough area. There was no reception and the only staff were a couple of people who we assumed to be cleaners, neither of whom spoke English. Before we arrived at the premises I attempted, on at least three occasions, to get a couple of queries answered, but each time I telephoned I kept being put through to what seemed to be a call centre. They couldn't help us in any way and they weren't able to get through to a receptionist either. We were told that someone would call us back but nobody ever did. When we got to our room it was dark because of the rainy weather and we discovered that none of the lights were working, apart from the bathroom light which worked intermittently. We had to telephone for assistance and again we couldn't contact any receptionist. The two staff members mentioned above did turn up to help, but it took a while to resolve our problem because they couldn't understand what we were telling them. They did eventually replace the bulb in the main ceiling light and provide us with a replacement table lamp, which we couldn't use as a bedside lamp because they were no electrical sockets in that area. Similarly, we had to put the kettle on the floor to use it because of the location of the sockets. Both of the taps on the bathroom sink were loose which made turning them on and off difficult. The hotel advertised "breakfast included", which led us to believe that we would be able to get a cooked breakfast, but what 'breakfast' actually consisted of was the 'free' use of a breakfast area where cereal, bread and hot drinks were provided, however my wife and I couldn't both have cereal together because there was only one bowl available for the whole premises. At £89 per night this 'Hotel' isn't particularly cheap but the facilities are more in line with those of a hostel.
