I loved the cat! 🥰 (Chleo, if I understood well). She kept me company for a few hours in the evening 😊 I get to pet her a lot and she gave me lots of hugs. The food was amazing! Dîner especially. I had the duck breast. It was delicious! Also the staff was very friendly! Park easily. Lovely view in front of the hotel. Everything was great. Room very clean! Soap and shampoo provided in the bathroom.

Beautiful cozy cottage tucked away in the scenic throws of the Peak District. Super hospitable hosts, my privacy was not once encroached upon. Tea and coffee station plus a very useful mini fridge (which may or.may not come stocked with some delicious mini muffins) humongous bed and very stylish bathroom. Everything was absolutely spotless.

The shower was somewhat challenging, couldn't seem to find the right temperature but after 30 years of showering, I'm pretty sure that's my own fault. I've also never encountered the likes of the light switch in the bathroom, I played Russian roulette every time I needed to pee, which added a small thrill to the otherwise mundane. Essentially there are no faults.

Bathroom needed more shelf space, a washcloth, and the shampoo felt off, as though the container had been filled with hand or body soap instead.

Firstly owner/host of property was not there to greet guests upon checking in. Moreover, no prior information was given that guests upon arriving at property has to contact owner/host for information to access booked room. If not coincidentally that another guest was there at time when I arrived, there's no way was I able to get into property. Furthermore, I didn't feel safe at all once inside property due to one other guest's portrayed demeanour. For my own safety concerns, I immediately vacate property on my own accord. And even knowing I will lose money already paid for said booking I ended up booking into another accommodation. It's definitely not the kind of accommodation that fits any kind of safe environment especially for single travellers on their own
