Considering how cheap this place is compared to most places in Manchester, it's pretty decent. You do have to share with other people, but you get your own room with a sturdy lock. Towels and a chocolate when you arrive, and even a free parking space which was super important for me. I didn't meet the host personally, but he was very quick to answer messages and informative

It's not the 'nicest' place to stay but I was more in the mood of 'i need a bed for the night'. There are some dents in the wall, and the surrounding feels a little sketchy. The pillows were quite thin but honestly thats personal preference - slept great anyway

Peaceful and tranquil location in the most beautiful of surroundings. Birdsong at all times! No traffic noise. Sitting in the gardens is stunning. Good Wi-Fi and lots of mirrors, which was perfect for 4 women sharing. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. You can't walk to a pub - but you can do lovely country walks straight from the door. Easy to find.

We were celebrating, so 4 champagne glasses would have been a bonus - and some hooks on the doors for coats and bathrobes - but these are minor things - not grumbles. No grocery stores nearby, but we knew that. Just remember your milk and teabags. Note: the entrance driveway is quite steep, you need to be fairly confident reversing out.

I loved the space and the apartment overall was very comfortable. The staff were amazing - I was allowed an earlier check-in to temporarily accommodate a family member, and the staff were very sympathetic and obliging.

The place was very dirty. The bedding was dirty, the beds hadn't been changed and some was stained. One of the mattresses was disgusting. The fridge was disgusting with mould and gone off milk. The floors hadn't been swept. The toilet had been used and not flushed, and dirty towels were in the bathroom. There was no hairdryer despite it appearing on the list.

Our collection code kept coming back as invalid. Contacted customer services who hung up on us multiple times but eventually got it resolved and was provided with an alternative code. I find it strange to not be provided with any cleaning products. There also wasn’t any oven gloves provided so had to use one of the towels from the bathroom to take things out the oven. It also isn’t good having products left in fridge from previous guests such as jam and mayonnaise.

I usually book a double room and there has never been an issue with noise. This time I could only book a twin room which are obviously in a different part of the hotel which faces onto the main pub/club thoroughfare. Noise all night from the poorly fitting windows, despite attempts at sound proof screens. My bed head and next doors bed head were next to each other through the wall and I could hear every word of their conversation.
