  Very clean rooms with excellent bedding and towels. The decor was very nice with a rustic charm. The bathroom was modern ,clean and well laid out for such a small space. The shower was fabulous. Staff were all really lovely, friendly professional and very helpful. The food was exceptional in the attached restaurant..couldnt fault it.

  The sofabed wasnt brilliant and on one side of the main bed..the mattress had dipped considerably. It was two single beds in format of a king and the mattress on one side definitely needs replacing! Could do with a light somewhere near the sofabed. There are no drawers anywhere so it lacks storage for 2 people. We had to be creative! There could be some drawer space where the bedside tables are. The rooms are small and the bathroom also very cosy so this limits the amount of space you have for better storage.

  Decent size of apartment. Clean. Wifi fine. Plenty hot water. Not an issue for us, but it was up two flights of external stone stairs which might be problem for elderly or persons with disability.

  The accommodation is basic but immaculately clean. A nice touch was a free bottle of wine and M&S biscuits to go with the tea/coffee. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

  Premises is rather tatty. Could do with a bit of a tidy up. Still good value for the price and I only slept there.

  Loved the setting It's great to see Goslings in the grounds. Breakfast is good. Shower nice, too. I'm glad we could have tea when we arrived.
