Breakfast was good and the Lady serving Excellent but why could the Chef not provide the exact order. I appreciate that the Chef tried to provide a substantial breakfast but if the order is for One Egg why provide Two Eggs. Room was adequate. Shower was small and leaked due to the drain not being cleaned. Dinner was satisfactory.

I appreciate that the Mouse Trap did not open until 3 P.M. but it have been helpful to have the front door open to deposit bags. However, when subsequently entering through the rear door the Lady in Charge was most helpful and polite. I realise that maintenance work was being undertaken but when Booking prior notice should have been given relevant to parking in the British Legion Car Park. Would have avoided a lot of frustration. Finally NO Lounge Area to enjoy a quiet drink after dinner. Had to attend the Pub up the road.

Rooms are spacious, very modern and techy. Mood lighting, electronic blinds, everything controlled by electronic consoles. Good vibe to the place and great location. Close to a lot of the big attractions and very close to a tube station. Will use again.

Minor issue is that corridors are quite dark but it's in keeping with the overall theme.

Room was very spacious and nice decor. Lovely to have a sofa and plenty of tea! We had windows and a view of the street which was quiet at night. Next to bowling green and cricket club. Very central with easy walk into town and river.

Additional fee for parking. We were expecting this and it was clear when we booked though. But unfortunately they don’t have space to be able to leave your car after you check out. But it wasn’t a problem as the cricket club has a great car park almost next door. But you will pay extra for this.

Lovely apartment, central location for the town centre and free parking at the back of the apartment. Everything you needed for a self-catering stay. Lovely restaurants within an easy walk - recommend Dylans, Plus 39 and Green Olive

Nothing, it was all great

Location was very noisy, and the curtains itself let in a lot of light. Requested a later check out but wasn’t afforded one

The shower wasn’t as clean as it should be mould round the edges

The building is gorgeous, the decoration and furnishings are delightful, perfect location.

My room was in the attic and was almost entirely eaves. You couldn't stand up straight unless stood in the small window (I'm 5ft 6'') and unless careful you would crack your head on the ceiling when walking to the bathroom. I imagine the other rooms in the building are glorious - just be warned if you are on the top floor.

Staff are wonderful and helpful. Hotel is clean and food is brilliant

Room wasn't as clean luggage holder was broken and it was not clean. There was no sign to say don't use. Bathroom was clean but not to the standard I would expect

I booked and initially paid £129 but decided to pay an extra £20 for an upgrade to a better room. When we arrived it was not a better room. It was for someone needing disabled access. The room was in a terrible state. It could only be accessed through an external firedoor, after leaving the Inn. The view was awful - a dirty blank wall. I complained and was told that the Inn had "problems as there was no communication with booking.com". I was asked to pay an additional £20 for an upgrade. The trip was part of our 30th Wedding Anniversary celebrations so I decided to go ahead and pay the extra. The room we were given was awful. It was very small - the bathroom was tiny, as was the sink; barely room to wash with terrible lighting. The staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. We were not given assistance in finding either room but simply given vague instructions on directions. When we came down to dinner, there was no service, and no signs explaining what the procedure was etc. We sat down at a table and reviewed the menu but were ignored by all the staff. Eventually I found someone to ask - she told me food was ordered at the bar. If I had not taken the initiative we would probably still be there! We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Breakfast was just as bad. When we arrived, after the stated start time, there was no hot food. There were no eggs at any time. We were glad to leave.
