The room was small but practical, with the comfiest beds! TV had a great selection of channels. Could not fault the room, many reviews complain of poor air conditioning units or the size but ignore them, the rooms here are small but they are great value for money if you are travelling and not planning on spending a large majority of time in the hotel. Next trip to London will definitely be based on this hotel as the location is amazing, super easy to explore all the best attractions!

The property exceeded what we were expecting. From the tranquillity of the surroundings to the decor of the property with personal touches throughout. Superb kitchen with high end appliances and throughly clean throughout. Tina the property manager was an absolute pleasure to deal with and supplied us with various tourist and local attractions as well as local food establishments.

Room was nicely decorated and spacious. The breakfast was amazing and I think one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. I have some allergies which means I have to be careful what I eat, where I stay etc. The hotel was very helpful and accommodating with this and they even tailored the breakfast to my needs! They have a broad selection in general.

The Jacuzzi was really nice but did seem like it was due some maintenance as it was splashing water up the wall at times and making some noises. I did mention this when checking out and they said they would look into it.

The view is outstanding from Harbour View House. The staff were helpful and friendly. A free drink on arrival was a nice touch and the breakfast in the morning had a range of innovative options. Our Room 7 had a great aspect and was comfortable.

At £220+ the price was definitely steep for a B&B. On arrival our room hadn't been made up even though it was 3pm, so staff arranged for this promptly.

Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. The location was great next to the harbour of port Seton and on the banks of the Firth of Forth.We could park right outside all in all very good.

The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent.

The room was very hot and the heating could not be adjusted. There was only one small bottle of still water for two people to share in the room and additional bottles could only be supplied from the restaurant at a heavily marked up price . No one answered the phone on any of the preset phone numbers, from reception to room service to assistant manager or housekeeping. There was a permanent queue at reception which was undermanned and requesting anything just wasn’t possible. It was as though there wasn’t anyone on duty or interested in guest comfort.

Breakfast was disappointing. Room cleanliness could have been improved. There were toenail clippings on the carpet from previous guests. For £188 per night - we expected better.
