Lovely grounds and interesting old manor house building. Interior was in keeping with the building. Good Reception staff on the day of my arrival. Dinner taken in the restaurant was very good.

There was no remote control for the TV when I arrived. Reception was busy and I had to wait for over an hour to get the attention. The problem was then solved with a replacement remote control. I couldn't figure out how to phone down to Reception (the usual 0, or any other number) didn't work, and there was no information in the room about this. There was also no information in the room about how to swtich on the electricity for the shower unit. I eventually figured it out, but this took time (a mains swtich was in the bedroom) - no information was given about this, so it was really frustrating.

Newly renovated. Really neat and tidy. Fully equipped with all necessary equipment. Tobi is very helpful and very accommodative during our stay. Definitely will stay again for the next visit.

Really comfortable and clean, owners Roy and Tina were so nice, made us feel welcome. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely stay there again.

the room was very small, you could here the people above doing everything and the floor boards creeked that load it woke u up. the toilet system was extremely noisy. the food was very expensive and an aquire taste. not for normal appetites
