Accommodation - great location opposite the Castle and walkable into town, fab cafe next door however there was a mix up with the rooms, bunk beds unmade and you could feel the springs in the top bunk mattress. Advertised as family room (sleeps four) but only a two seater sofa and no where else to sit. All a little grubby and could do with a deep clean. Contact Daniel was polite and helpful.

… however the pool and spa area are really disappointing … it’s more of a leisure centre … THE BAR ! BEER KELLA ! It’s the strangest place ever …. Must pay 10 pounds to get in …. You have live music there but never have I been asked for ID and to pay 10 pounds VERY STRANGE !

The service in Mollie diner with the manager attitude along with her unprofessional service. Eating her boyfriends pancakes off his plate in the restaurant that he was also saying were horrible as to why he wasn’t eating them. Terrible attitude from her when asked why she’d shared a discount for a plate that had been sent back untouched through being undercooked, telling the member of our party that although it was her assumption, that she felt she was being made to look stupid along with other ridiculous quotes. Resulting in her taking a receipt from us scrunching it up and slamming it down next to her staff member who put it in the bin. Not to mention the worn down thigh high boots and mini skirt she was wearing made her look nothing like a manager of the sort. In terms of the motel area of the stay, there was a terrible eggy smell coming from the drains so every time we walked across the car park or turned the tap on in our room it sent a terrible smell through the air. Luckily we brought a crate of waters with us for the 2 nights stay so we used that water to brush our teeth.

£140+ was a little steep . No breakfast included no staff to meet you or see you at any point . No views unless you stood on a chair and looked out the velux window in the bathroom.
