  Location, location, location! Right in the centre of Birmingham, loads of restaurants and bars around (obviously including Spoons which is just downstairs). The room itself was comfortable and clean with everything you'd need for an overnight stay. Biccies, bottles of water, tea and coffee in the room. Lovely powerful over bath shower! I would definitely stay here again.

  The hotel was not to the standard I expected. Dogs took priority. The bar was full of barking dogs. Our room was the smallest, probably because we did not have our dog in the room. Everyone had dinner in the bar first. The menu was almost vegetarian and the Lamb had not been delivered, so they offered an alternative red meat of venison. Bar staff no idea about drinks. Very very disappointed. We did not stay, checked out and they gave a full refund. I would question my original booking with Booking.com last August 2023!!

  It was extremely small, the room was very dirty with black mould in the shower, the hot water did not work and I would not recommend staying there
