A very cute and quaint cottage, felt very homely. Has everything you'd ever need. Parking was ideal although the gates only shut if you have a small hatchback which we had. Very close to the town centre so once parked up no need to use the car again as everything is within walking distance.

Can be a little noisy at night with people walking past but it's all part and parcel of being close to the centre of a thriving town.

The room was adequate and breakfast was good. We didn't use all of the faccilities, which is why my answer to the question was not very positive. The pricing was good though. The hotel was within good striking distance of Alnwick.

The location was ideal for visiting family nearby in Woodingdean. On street parking was ok. The house was very clean and had everything you need for a weekend stay. Treats for the dogs was a lovely touch.

The bed was uncomfortable for my husband (too firm) and I would have preferred the option of a lighter quilt as I was too hot. It would be safer for dogs to have an enclosed garden with gates.

Very convenient as far as where we were headed (London Stadium). The staff are incredibly friendly and were exactly what I wanted and desired from a pub hotel.

Absolute price-gouge at £230 for a single night (We stayed to attend the London Series). The decor has not been changed in four decades, which might be a charm I suppose. The area did not feel inviting or safe. There is no breakfast, despite being advertised and this was the sole reason that I booked this location.

The location was great, lovely bar area, cafe and outside area. Nice breakfast selection. Room was spacious.

The rooms were very old fashioned, the mattresses on the two single beds were completely gone, wry noisy to lie on and uncomfortable. The curtains were hanging off the pole in the room.

Excellent location and a good sized apartment for a base in the middle of Brighton.

We were 4 adults, only 2 small towels were provided, and there was no bath mat in the bathroom or tea towels or oven gloves in the kitchen. The sofa bed was tired and uncomfortable, and the lack of blind in the lounge meant we were woken early by the light. Communication with the team was poor - contacted them a number of times about the 'free parking' to be told they would be in touch but by the time the got around to responding (the day before arrival) we had already booked and paid for private parking. A shame as it could have been perfect with a couple of extra touches.

Non existent wifi except in garden. No shower mat. No corkscrew. Very old cooker. Freezer door in fridge stuck on with tape. No information either about apartment or the area. No welcome. Just key on door. No lids on pans. Towel rack loose on wall. Could be lovely but reeks of neglect and lack of maintenance. Left 2 phone calls on voicemail prior to arrival. No reply.
