Room with a view over Leicester square could not be faulted. Excellent location for visiting central london and many of the tourist spots. Excellent view from the rooftop restaurant/bar.
Negative section of review
During our stay only ONE lift was working. As there is a public access bar on the rooftop and breakfast is served on the rooftop this caused some quite long annoying delays. Luckily we were only 2 floors up so leaving the hotel via the stairs was fine. Appreciate that equipment fails but this appeared to be long term. The remaining lift was slow, had limited capacity and also sounded a little rough.

A luxurious little home from home, so romantic and welcoming. A private oasis in a quiet location, you're just far enough away from it all to hear the dawn chorus !

It was perfect.

Beach on your doorstep, great views, shops & pubs & places to eat close by, train station close by.

The locality to the shops restaurants bars, even superstores around the corner, m&s ASDA, McDonald's, jd sports, the list goes on, the pier is a loverly 10min walk, if your lucky the band could be playing at the bandstand on the prom, which I had the opportunity to sit and listen to.

NOTHING!!! IT'S CHEETHAM HILL!!!
Negative section of review
Seriously, this is an honest review!!! I haven't made ANYTHING UP... THIS IS FOR REAL!!! 1) Area. Cheetham Hill, Manchester. If you ever want to see the most deprived area in the North West... come here!!! You will be greeted on the street by a beggar, high on drugs, in a wheel chair... broken leg... covered in filth... asking you for money so they can buy drugs! Enter the garden, which hasn't been tended to since 1980. The reception opens at 4 p.m. They offer you the room. 2) The room. You enter a dormitory style set up from the 1970s. The room I was given wasn't even what I paid. I paid for a double and was given a single downstairs. Window straight out onto the streets that the said beggars are hanging on. Doing drugs. I close the window and curtains straight away. The room stinks of urine. Fro. The sink in there. I look around to see all second hand furniture, mis matched together. Never been cleaned properly! The bed is a basic, thin frame, slimmest matress in the shop, set up! I went to the shared bathroom. On the floor, there is a dirty tampon. DIRTY! 3) Overall. Very basic, dirty, dangerous area.

The noise from the club - it goes on until literally 4am and then you start to hear bin men etc around 6am. Literally the only negative for the place. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and just didn’t expect the noise to be to the level it was until the time it was
