Positive section of review
Once I was successfully inside the apartment (see below) it was clean and comfortable. It would have been a great option for any traveller needing to use the kitchen/ washing machine etc. There were people in the other rooms but I did not see or hear them, other than odd door closing. The bathroom was shared but clean. Security felt good. Comfortable bed and slept well. For the money paid, it was excellent value.

It is called an 'Inn' but it is actually part of a 70's style Tower Hamlets block of flats, several flights up. Not London's safest borough but I encountered no problems myself. My taxi driver was stumped finding it so we rang the owner/ manager, he was very friendly and we located it with his help. There is no staff at the property itself, all is done remotely by phone. I was travelling without access to the internet so the owner/ manager was also very helpful talking me through the 3 different PIN codes for main door, apartment door and finally my room. It would be fair to say I was dismayed by the exterior of the building and it was quite difficult to get a heavy suitcase up the outside stairs, but once inside the apartment it was all very nice and I slept well.

The hotel was in a quiet location, yet was located perfectly to access the A1 and other major roads. The room was a good size but a little dated for the price we paid it was good value for money. The staff were funny, friendly and really helpful.

Difficult to find. Nowhere to hang wet coats, maybe a couple of hooks in the utility area. Some of the crockery and cutlery was dirty.
