Hotel is in a convenient location. Food is served until 9pm, so suitable for a late check in. Menu is small but quality of food was great. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were allocated a ground floor room, which we had requested. Plenty of space to walk dogs. Clean, tidy room and communal areas. Brilliant price, which includes breakfast.

Bath/ shower panel is rusting on the toilet side, leaving sharp edges. I really don’t like the bathroom/toilet swing door - it takes up too much space and the latch is noisy at night. Charge an extra £25 for the dog, a dog friendly hotel should include the dog fee within the room charge. The air conditioning unit was noisy. The fan in the bathroom is noisy. The place could do with a renovation. Given the price - very good value for money!

The staff were all very helpful in a proactive manner. Katie was unbelievable but not the only one. Well beyond the call of duty. Internet was fast and furious as well as reliable. But my favourite is the kitchen despite having restricted access during too many hours and one cannot have a cuppa tea until eight. A kettle in the lounge would suffice, me thinks

The deposit for key has to be cash in an area where there are no ATMs. Staff try to justify this with poor arguments with no realisation that if you have been around the hostel circle this is without doubt the worse system around.

Absolutely stunning location. The view is just spectacular. Also all is quiet around there and this combo made it the perfect spot to recover from hikes. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Ace.

The room was modern, ample in size and decor with a very comfortable bed. All room facilities expected of a hotel described as a "luxury" hotel were available.

The public areas of the hotel were unattractive both in appearance and in their location within the hotel. There was only a small reception area with no identified concierge or concierge space. For any of the services usually provided by a concierge, it was necessary to speak with one of two staff members who worked behind the reception counter, when either of them was available and not performing reception duties. The bar, located at lower ground level, was an uninviting space!
