Great hotel for pre holiday stay. Location was perfect for Terminal 3 departures which was easy to get to via covered walkway. Runway bar was lovely too. Good choice of food & drink. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely stay again if flying from London Heathrow.

Couldn’t fault the property or location. It was well presented and the welcome pack was a lovely touch and appreciated. I would definitely stay there again if available. It was nice to have the parking permits too as our car was too big for the space behind the property.

Our stay was for one night only - I would have loved to stay longer, the room was large and very comfortable with an exceptional view across fields and hills. The locals in the bar in the evening were very friendly and it was an added bonus to meet Sam nd Archie!!

Maybe a little more training for the staff who served breakfast would be a good idea although she handled some demanding customers with great tact and diplomacy

Clean and comfortable. Very thoughtful owner, lots of little details that make this a great stay. Very nice beds. Hot tub was on when we arrived. Host kept communicating up until we arrived even though it was very late at night. Definitely recommendable.

The fact that there was a sitting room and a bar for the evening. The reception was very friendly and efficient. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. There was a good choice of breakfast and the quality was also good.

Excellent location in the heart of the town. Friendly staff. Really good breakfast, best we have had in our stays in Bath. We liked the ginger shots, fresh fruit and hot breakfast cooked to order.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Parking is expensive in the city centre. Some street noise at night and toilet in the lounge area is down a steep spiral staircase so not for anyone with mobility issues.

Room was roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff, well welcoming lady, was friendly and helpful.

It was a bit run down. The shower was awful with no power whatsoever. It was just ok for quick wash but washing hair would have been impossible. I thought £100 for a night was expensive when it was literally just a bed. No catering at all and you had to drive to the nearest restaurant!

A word of caution. If like us you have an emergency when staying there. Do not expect any leeway from the owner regarding any refund or partial refund. My husband is terminally ill and we booked a last minute holiday here for 7 nights. Sadly we had to leave after 2 nights and he is now in hospital. After many discussions with the owner there was no offer of any refund in spite of these extenuating circumstances. Very disappointing that greed won over kindness.
