Very friendly staff. Helpful and always on hand. The room was cleaned daily. The room was very clean. Parking was close by, for an additional £5 a day. It's worth it, in my opinion.

The curtain was very see-through. The bathroom was very, very small. The walls were very thin, we could hear everything happening in the house.

Bathroom - no vent, no window, hard access in the bathtub with a child. We booked a double room without breakfast (I was traveling with my wife and our 3yo daughter). When we got to the hotel we were told that the room is not suitable because it can only accommodate 2 adults (apparently a 3yo is an adult). We had to pay 200€ more. I booked the room through Booking, by entering all guests details… it was disappointing (not sure why it was a problem because we did not book any breakfast or additional services) Just 1 elevator for 4 floors so you might have to wait a couple of minutes when it is crowded.

The service in the restaurant was poor. Staff new and person in charge not friendly and caring. One of the 3 meals we had was very poor (lamb fillet) - fatty and not like a normal fillet. Although we told them they didn’t seem to care and the manager afterwards didn’t do anything. We would not eat there again. Whole hotel needs a lick of paint and a bit of renovation in rooms. Curtains shabby. Windows/balcony door in need of repair. My friends were on reception level, I was on the 3rd floor in spite of requesting rooms close together. There were few guests so it should have been easy. I was with family friends/guests from Switzerland so embarrassed by this standard.
