The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The bedrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I liked the idea of getting a green card, which was if we didn't want anyone to go in and change the towels etc during our stay we would get a free drink.

When we went down in the evening to get a drink there was no beer at all on tap. It was like that for the two days of our stay.

everything except that they inconvenienced me with a supposed pest inspection, in which I had to open the door at 12 in the morning or let someone enter my apartment
Negative section of review
that they bother me with a supposed inspection, and that they charge you a security deposit of £250, which they have confirmed to me that they would return within 48 hours and has not yet been returned to my account

Beautiful period property with a lovely garden and very comfortable bedrooms. Our hosts Chris and Bev could not have been more welcoming into their beautiful home.

Breakfast was good. Very nice room. Hotel is a classic picturesque Bath building so will meet many people's expectations

Bath is not a cheap city and hotel is therefore not cheap - it is average value for money. It is actually quite a distance from the centre up a pretty steep hill so if you have any mobility issues, not for you. Hotel charges for parking which seemed pretty unreasonable though there is not enough parking anyway so hotel can probably just it on a 'supply and demand' logic. Have been travelling to Bath fairly frequently for 25 years and two trends to think about: 1. As Bath has now become a very anti-car place, this poses a problem for visitors in hotels like this so think carefully when you choose 2. Bath is now a BIG Hen Night destination so most hotels will have cava-fuelled Hen parties. It was a bit of a surprise to find people drinking in the hallway as we tried to get to our room at the Lansdown, -as I think the hotel would see itself as pretty sophisticated- though I suspect many Bath hotels will have the same issues.

Property central and close to railway station

Didn’t appreciate being hearded out of the bar and more or less told to go to bed. We were not disruptive and had come back from a gig looking for a few drinks only managed a couple before we were rudely told to go.

It was very small and uncomfortable for what they charge
