  The breakfast was very good a varied selection of cereals and juice , the breakfast came out was hot and tasty. The owners asked when we checked in to ask what we wanted so when we went for breakfast it was cooked and presented with everything we had asked for. Very good service and very clean owners were very friendly and approachable and said if we needed anything at all to let them know.

  The hosts Steven and Mary were wonderful. So welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, fluffiest cheese omelette I have ever had. Perfect location for us opposite the university and a bus stop right near the property to jump into town, having left the car in the space provided.

  The rooms had a makeover about a year ago and all the fittings were fine. The shower was effective. good towels. Breakfast was cooked to order and the omelette was great. Good selection of fruit juices. Overall I thought it was good value.

  No fruit or yoghurt at breakfast on offer though. It's a pub rather then a hotel so a little noise is to be expected on a weekend. However the noise on a warm afternoon did not stop me sleeping after a tiring day out even with the windows open.

  Had a real cosy homely feel, breakfast was great, view was out of this world. Very clean and quiet and Laura and Kevin are lovely hosts too- really accommodating.

  Stunning views, comfy bed and reasonably reasonably priced tavern bar. Delicious breakfast.

  Breakfast was very rushed and spoilt it. Oats, fruit, croissants and coffee came out and, within a minute, the cooked breakfast arrived. We should have sent it back as another couple did, so we could enjoy the breakfast properly.
