Outside space good which helped with eating breakfast , as insufficient room to eat comfortably in our bedroom . Croissants, jams etc delicious left in a bag on our door each morning Lovely staff Hotel fabulous position in old town

We missed having a breakfast room, although we were forewarned at the time of booking A small table and an extra chair in the bedroom would have been useful to eat breakfast. Luckily the weather was good enough to eat outside.

We visit friends in the area and the location works for us. We also enjoy the Italian “tapas” in the restaurant. Breakfast is also good. Staff are friendly. We have stayed previously and had good experiences.

We were not offered help with luggage on arrival as per previous visits. Very small room. We were staying for 3 nights and had the tiniest room. It was also very hot - we did have a couple of warm days but not hot, overnight was 12 degrees but the room was unbearable even with a fan running 24/7. Room was not clean - hairs in the bath (which they did come and re-clean), cobwebs hanging from the ceiling (old cobwebs with dust) and found an empty crisp packet in the bedside drawer. There were four hangers in the wardrobe (for 2 people for 3 nights) and when requested more were told that the hotel was full and there were two per person. They did manage to find 2 more - not enough. The remote control for the tv did not work and although reported was not remedied. No shelf / space in the bathroom for toothbrushes etc. Bed was very uncomfortable.

The location was so very peaceful and rural, yet near enough to Cromer for an evening or day trip. The hosts were delightful and room and breakfast could not have been any better.

I do not recommend it for staying more than 3 nights in a row. The breakfast is exactly the same day to day. The variety of products/dishes for the breakfast is quite limited representing mostly typical British breakfast, very fat with lack of proteins and vagitables. Also, which is not easy to explain for me, the bathroom is lacking the toilet brush. Which makes you stay as a couple very awkward and inconvenient.

Hot tap of basin turned the wrong way! One member of staff was unfriendly, verging on unhelpful. Others were lovely.

Access up the steps was a little difficult, especially with bags. More explanation needed to understand water heating. Resulted in cold water being experienced for the shower. Also no oven gloves. Also more explanation needed for the different recycling bags
