The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Friendly welcoming staff especially the receptionist! Very comfortable room -stylish and spacious. Excellent location and plenty of attractive space for dining and a drink.

Possibly start serving breakfast earlier in the week-say 7am. It’s about tight for those travellers needing to get out for work.

The room was very comfortable and roomy for 3 people. The bathroom was nice and the water pressure exceptional. The food in the ground floor restaurant was superb!

There was nothing I didn’t like , just one of the pillows had dog hairs on so many just having them double check that before the next person comes in but was perfect others.

A bit of noise through the walls in the back bedroom so if you are a light sleeper, bring your earplugs.

Helpful staff and liked our room.

We were booked in for two nights and when we booked in for breakfast, we were told that if we wanted to have a cooked breakfast we had to pay the extra. We were confused as we had paid for breakfast. We just had the basic breakfast. The second day when we went for breakfast we just had the basic one and later realised we could have had the cooked breakfast. When we left we did report it to Reception and they confirmed that we should have had the full breakfast. We did feel we had been let down! We didn't use the bath/shower as we felt the bath looked a bit slippery and as we are in our 80's we didn't want to fall! It would have been been helpful to have a mat in the bath.

Good location on the quayside

Our room (costing over £197) was dark and gloomy. The small window looked onto a road - no more than six feet away. We had to keep the curtains closed because, on the ground floor, passers by looked straight into our room. Definitely not worth the price. We booked several months before our trip so it wasn’t a last minute, high price booking. Dining experience was mediocre.
