Tredenwith House is a newly refurbished apartment, so is very spacious and clean. Directions for entry were very clear and easy. Location is central in St Just so shops and restaurants are a stone's throw away. Our hosts were very friendly and communicative. We slept very soundly as it was quiet and we could open a window to keep the room nice and cool.

As a new property there are a few teething issues, but nothing major. The owners invited feedback on areas to improve on so we provided five or six pointers, which are mostly easy to take on board. A bigger, more comfortable bed is perhaps the only suggestion that is harder to action easily.

Jack and staff all very professional and welcoming. Excellent hotel for a stay with a dog especially the superior rooms with decked patio. Food was great and it was lovely to be able to have the dog with us whilst eating.

Excellent location, close to everything and lots of parking.

The bathroom facilities (especially the shower) were pretty lacking, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. You had to specifically request housekeeping, which is fine, but they did not attend to our room when we specifically asked for it, so we did not have any housekeeping on a three day stay.

Proximity to Theatreland and the friendly staff.

Paying by card only. I’d rather have the choice to pay by cash.

My room did not have any windows, this was not referenced in any information on booking the room. The smell of cigarette smoke was very strong and seemed to be pumping out of the air-conditioning unit. The temperature in the room must've been around 25°C despite there being air-conditioning. The air-conditioning could not be controlled! I raised these with the owners and this was their reply: Dear Robert we are sorry we will not do refund for you because thoses reasons, 1- no one was in your room before you coming unless the house keepeer organising your room and all of them un smoking 2- you didn't inform the Reception man about those problems he was able to go to check your room and give you another room in case he found any problem in your room and in the same for the heating 3- you accept to stay in the room and for us we don't have any problems like nothing happend as you didn't complaint or say any thing during staying inside the room Thank you Ramy Kind Regards, ramy You MUST NOT stay at this property.

Bathroom shower corners dirty. Wallpaper loose in bedroom. To get room refreshed or extra tea/coffee etc all had to be done through portal which wasn’t apparent when booking. Breakfast had to be taken across the road. Bar and lounge closed before 7pm. No one around at 11am when leaving so left key on bar. Kitchen closed on day of departure. Large king size room with tiny bathroom. At over £100 per night for what you get not good value.
