  We were so impressed with the whole stay. The property was clean and fresh . Bed very comfortable and lovely pillows and crisp sheets . . Staff very helpful and our family room was excellent value and very well presented with all amenities . We had forgotten shampoo and conditioner which was the only thing but there are local shops nearby . It was also quiet to sleep . Most impressed and will stay again as we visit Tavistock to see friends often . Well done for making our stay super quality

  The rooms were nicely decorated, very modern. The bed was huge & so comfy. The pillows were amazing & the best nights sleep ive had in ages. Bathroom clean & modern. Staff really friendly.

  Location close to city & river Thames. The bar is friendly & accessible. Staff although few, are very friendly.

  Hotel is under new management. Rooms are small & tired, but sheets & towels are clean. Staff who have remained are as friendly as ever. Sadly there are no eating facilities at all, at this point so no breakfasts or hit drinks are available. The dining room is also closed, no staff. We have visited many times & will return as it is so central.

  Sorry about this, because I'm sure most people would have been delighted with the roll-top bath but, without any kind of hand rail or a non-slip mat it was useless for anyone with even the slightest mobility or balance issues. The only option for me was a strip wash in the sink. I realise it's a walkers' town and most visitors will be fit and able, but for anyone who isn't they'll need to know.

  I loved the bed after 27 hours of flying - the bath tub was even better!!!

  I booked for an extra night stay due to jetlag and had drilling and banging works next to my bed head while trying to rest out the jet lag. I am familiar with the area so didn't need extra help. The staff were all incredibly sweet but didn't seem to know much about the area. Maybe the conceirge could benefit a day out and around Clerkenwell and Old St so they can prompt more exciting adventures for someone staying fresh off the area.
