Breakfast sometimes nice others because of Staff changes left a lot to be desired. Bar Staff pleasant and friendly. 1 young Lady in particular was really scruffy at serving breakfast could no even cook Bacon and Egg. Was dressed inappropriately for a Restaurant even though it was in the Countryside kept popping out to have a Cigarette not even washing her hands after.

Bed was not changed even after we asked a member of Staff had asked someone to change the sheets it never happened.

We arrived in late April after a long walk, dripping wet on a day that never stopped raining. The first thing we noticed was the warm log fire roaring away drying everyone's boots - perfect, we joined in! Great food and real ales in the evening and mega breakfast in the morning.

Most of the times when I visit UK I use Premier Inn hotels for my accommodation. This time when I was in Edinburgh I stayed here. Room was little smaller than I expected. But it was alright as I used only for one night. Location was great. Easy access to transportation.

Very cosy and and warm when we used the heaters as still quite cool at the end of April! Everything we needed in the kitchen and loved the little toiletries in the bathroom. Very conveniently situated in the old town, near to the shops/bars and restaurants.

Just a tad dated, could do with a lick of paint. Windows were dirty too. But otherwise great.

Stayed at this lovely hotel many times and the owners are lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is ideally located for our needs and they also offer a really nice freshly cooked breakfast to order.

On this visit the bed was not very comfortable and could probably do with replacing but it would not stop me booking to stay again (I would just request a different room!)

The location is good, as the street is not busy and there aren't many tourists walking around. The neighbourhood is good and safe. You have the bus stop line 24 just in front.

The rooms were so tiny that we could not get into the bathroom. The beds are not very comfortable and tall, so if you are a small person, you need to jump in. Too expensive for what it is. If you only look for a place to stay for 2-3 days and not be on the hotel at all, it's ok.

The breakfast was great, no complaints there. Delivered to your room and was surprised at the variety and amount of food which was on the tray. Absolutely great!

The bedrooms were uncomfortably hot, and we couldn't adjust the heating. The building site next door was very noisy. Adults slept in the single beds, and the duvets were child size. It was very hard to find the cottage.
