Practically everything. The location particularly. 5 minutes walk from the station, 10 from the bus station and 3 from the Hop on Hop off city tour bus stops. The only thing I didn't notice was car parking, but then I wasn't looking for it Sergio is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. I was able to arrive early and leave luggage, also when I left. Breakfast is Continental- we are told when we book- but as well as fruit juice, cereal and toast, they also have yogurt and croissants. There are plenty of other places in Bath to get full fry ups including one at the end of the road. There is noise from the street outside - they warn about that too - but I wasn't bothered by it, and it was my choice to have the window open! It's not cheap, but then nothing in Bath is; it's an expensive city. Its not 'posh', but is very welcoming and comfortable. ,

The number of lights on in the small hours - waste of energy - A rubber mat in the shower world prevent slips, particularly for us older folk whose balance isn't what it was. Water took a long time to run away from the basin and shower. Small blockage maybe? I personally think that the thin loo paper is a false economy: it may be cheaper to buy, but will get used up faster. The number of stairs- not kind to elderly knees.

Chris and Ann were wonderful hosts, extremely helpful, friendly and oblidging and made my wife Faye and I feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bed, bedroom and ensuite were excellent. They do not provide breakfasts but supply tea, coffee ,snacks and fruit etc. The "Thames Head Wharf" is a extremely well preserved historic building built in the 1790s at the source of the Thames River. and is set in beautiful rolling countryside. Chris was only too happy to share with us the history of both the building and surrounding area. The "Thames Head Inn" is only a couple of minutes along the road and provides a very good range of food. "Thank you Chris and Ann it was a privilege share your company and wonderful home.

The bathroom was too small. The shower opening was too narrow for me to shower. The toilet was too cramped to be comfortable.
