the location was lovely and quiet with a nice nature surrounding and a half an hour walk towards the East Beach :) the apartment was extremely clean and comfortable with lots of little extras like coffees, teas, biscuits, milk, orange juice and water :) I could very much recommend the whole stay to anyone who's looking for a quiet and peaceful location and waking up to the sound of birds :) I'd definitely come back again! Thank you so much :)

Tony the man who owns and runs a good show was an excellent host. The breakfast was beyond what we expected for a Buffet. The facilities, room provided for breakfast was tremendous along with lots of nice homely quirks. The tea and coffee was great too. Tony makes a 100% effort to please his guests all the time. He is a mine of information of things local in Oban and surrounding areas. We will be going back there.

Large, spacious apartment for three adults. Clean, easy to find and get in. Communication with staff smooth and fast. Beautiful interior! Location is excellent close to The old town. A good store right in The corner.

The street next to the apartment was noisy not because of traffic but because of late night partying (?) people yelling in the street. With extra ear plugs we slept fine.

Friendly host. Comfy bed. Good shower. Tasty breakfast. Relaxed outside seating. Cask ales available and convenient nearby pub (Brickmakers Arms) with excellent cask ales (from Burton Bridge Brewery).

Only some minor points. :-) Kitchen is closed for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays (the nights I stayed) and there are no other dining or food shopping options in the small village. The large wall-mounted TV screen in the room is (as far as I'm concerned) unnecessary, oversized and dominates the otherwise very comfortable room. My room (no. 3) faced onto the street and noise from occasional traffic was noticeable, especially with the windows open (in warm weather this was preferable to keeping the windows shut and getting uncomfortably warm).

The dog peeing in the lobby, taking my child down the stairs past an area having a strong aroma of marijuana, the very old decor, badly covered up repairs, door frames with gauges… It was like paying over the top to be in a hostel. The hotel is not conveniently located near the airport - taxi is £20 there and £20 back to the airport.
