Disappointing that on a Sunday morning breakfast stopped at 09.45 - website indicates 10.00. Rather inflexible staff when we arrived at 9.59.

Front garden area desperately needs weeding and tidying so the house didn’t look appealing from the start. On the inside of the front door it looked like someone had tried to prise it out of the lock which made me feel unsafe. Entrance hall and kitchen are tired and shabby, veneer bubbling off in places on the cupboards, a piece of somebody’s spaghetti had been left in sink, and the cooker top looked like it needs a polish and contained crumbs and rice. The fridge seal needed cleaning as did the cutlery tray. Kitchen could do with a blind or curtains given it looks out onto the road. Living room ok but for a house that sleep 6, having only one sofa is inadequate and it was uncomfortable. Mould in the grout in the bathroom could easily have been bleached out. Water wasn’t that hot but didn’t investigate the boiler to see if I could adjust it. Bedrooms were ok but found a long dark hair on one of the pillows and bedding smelled like it had been left in tumble dryer too long. Quite a few cobwebs on the ceilings around the house and in the corners. Back garden badly overgrown so couldn’t sit out in it. Overall very disappointed given the excellent reviews this property had and how outstandingly clean others had said it was. Have pictures to support all my comments.
