The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

It's a lovely well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. What's not to love? We had 3 generations and all enjoyed the trip equally as much. Good WiFi an absolute winner along with the cake and milk in our welcome pack. Thank you.

Getting through the gates and the parking is quite tight

The location was ideal, the hosts were welcoming and had a system sorted for parking permits for our hire car. The room was comfortable and well stocked, the shower was hot, and the included breakfast was delicious.

A bit hard to find the entry when the cafe is closed. You need to go down a side alley.

We had a good looking room with large bathroom with double aspect windows. Food and staff was good.

A leaking tap deprived me of sleep, the room should never have been rented like that. The next day i had to drive to Heathrow and then back to Devon, not having a good night sleep made it longer as i had to keep stopping to rest.

The venue (pub/Hotel) has fantastic character.

Room 203 has the most unlevel floor I've ever seen and has 2 single beds that are on wheels, bed closest to the window literally glides across the floor when trying to sleep. Had a fire alarm drill at 3am and there was no organisation from the on duty staff member, was an absolute shambles. £109.00 for a city centre hotel sounds good, but when you literally can't sleep in a bed without it moving across the room it's a joke and I'm struggling to see where this value for money is with my stay. Still awaiting a response from the Hotel since I messaged 48 hours ago.
