Jayne is a perfect host. Giving lots of useful information on the area as well as the property. The room was amazing. Everything very clean and tidy. Well decorated. Spacious and airy. The property is within walking distance of the station and the town. Very useful fridge and kettle provided but also cold water in the fridge which was perfect on arrival!

Location was excellent. My wife passed away 5 weeks ago and needed to get away somewhere quiet and good for bus service to other locations and couldn't have been better. Lovely sat at side of river and canal 6 o'clock in morning having a coffee. Fish and chip shop was excellent value for money.

Only 2 pubs in village and all fully booked for meals. Other than that nothing else.

The location was best and I love the efficiency of staff the way they treated the customers.

Regarding the breakfast. They didn’t mentioned while booking that per person they will offer a single plate serving among the breakfast options. I was thinking as an unlimited breakfast but it was not. I regret to include a breakfast along with booking a room.

The walls are paper thin and you share 1 bathroom with 4 other rooms. Everyone slammed the front door because they couldn’t get it to lock properly , including me. It’s basically a semi detached house on an estate rented out for rooms. It’s unmanned, you just let yourself in. At 10pm at night Kenny the owner came in, he asked me to come out of my room as he couldn’t remember who was supposed to be in which rooms. It was late , I was tired and at that point I felt very unsafe. He then continued to make a very loud phone call to sort out who was meant to be staying. I paid £70 for a single room and it was over priced. By comparison I’ve just stayed in a hostel that has a sink in the room and I’ve got it to myself for £57.

It was loud, people were smoking marijuana in the house and my bed hadn’t been cleaned and I was bitten head to toe from bed bugs. I had to spend additional money on medical expenses and the property was ignoring my messages about the issue.
