The inn is lovely and central. The staff were lovely and friendly. They stored my luggage prior to check-in so I was able to wander around Ambleside. They carried my luggage up to my room and brought it back down for me in the morning. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. An opening window was a nice touch. The view was of the lovely buildings nearby. Even though it is on a bend inches road ,because it's very quiet during the night in the lake district I didn't hear a thing until my alarm went off at 8am. Breakfast was delicious, the full English was perfect. A wonderful stay and so good value for money. It was cheaper than the guest house I stayed in that didn't offer any breakfast, and the bathroom was so tiny that's at on the loo you could your feet in the shower and clean your teeth. Thank you Ambleside inn for a fantastic time.

Breakfast OK and as you might expect for the type of hotel. Location very good handy for shops etc in particular and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Room absolutely fine - clean, well fitted with a comfortable bed. En- suite bathroom a decent size (not a tiny pod - has room to if not swing a cat, certainly give it a good twirl). Lighting in room is good.

Centrally located apartment which is a stones throw away from Brick Lane and Aldgate East station. Apartment is tastefully decorated and the host is super responsive. I would recommend to others and will certainly be booking again.
