Good location, very near British Museum and Russell Square Park. Lovely garden terrace at the back of the hotel. Liked having a kettle and the ability to make a cup of tea in the room. The bathroom was very tired looking, due for a spruce up. Also, there was no way to manage the temperature in the room. This meant it got very hot and stuffy in the room, so we had to open the windows for relief - but then it was very noisy from the street traffic. Would be too hot in summer.

We stayed for 3 nights and holiday home had everything we need. The host had left cookies and apple juice which was a lovely touch. Was in a quiet location within the park. Communication with host was great. Would recommend for short or long stay.

Beautiful grounds. Pool and gym. Great atmosphere in the historical building. Nice size room which was clean.

Service in the main dining room wasn’t smooth. The wait staff kept getting the tables muddled and didn’t seem to know we had a booking or where we were supposed to be eating. The housekeeping staff weren’t doing a great job. Dirt and dust behind the shower door, kept forgetting daily replacement of items. Forgot to service our room one day. I suspect it’s down to inadequate training, they all seemed quite young.
