Great communication from the host and the arrangements for the parking worked very well. The room was a generous size with a seating area as well as a sleeping area and shower room. If we needed anything, Sharon and Andrew were available but we were 'left in peace' the rest of the time. Daily servicing of the room was available, on request, but it suited us to look after the room ourselves. An excellent breakfast with lots of variety. It felt like staying with friends who insisted on cooking you breakfast and chatted with you about what you wanted to do for the day. Lots of ideas and helpful hints.

Good location. Just 10 minute walk to Saltdean beach and heated lido. The Annexe was neat, tidy, clean and well maintained, with modern decor. The rooms were equipped with all the facilities and items we needed for our comfort during our 3 night stay, including a range of streaming services on the TV. The host (Gordon) was very friendly and welcoming. The property was located within walking distance of pubs, cafes and other local amenities, and just 80 yards away from the bus stop of a route that took us to Brighton's seafront and town centre. Really enjoyed our stay

Terrestrial channels were almost impossible to get on the TV. Reception was really poor. Picture either froze or cut out completely. Netflix, Amazon Prime and ITV X compensated for that, though.

The room we booked had beautiful views and a lovely spacious balcony - it was pouring during our stay though so we didn’t get to enjoy that. The bed and pillows were super comfy and we both got a great night’s sleep. It’s great having the restaurant and bar right downstairs and both were excellent.

The rooms are gorgeous but very small. Two suitcases in there means you’re jostling for space. The bathroom is also beautiful but I find handheld shower heads incredibly annoying. Particularly the ones like they have in these bathrooms that never seem to adjust properly or sit steady and do little more than shoot water at the wall behind you. Your only option is to hold them to shower, which is tedious. While the room was gorgeous and had good facilities I do think it was overpriced.

A difference is occurring here under Di's leadership and it shows. Rooms and general feel was that the hotel was cleaner and tidier. Big thing for me is the parking and that its a 5 minute walk into Rye centre. Its still a basic level hotel but one that is on the up i would say.

Booking company very communicative and entry easy. Apartment very clean and well decorated and furnished. Facilities good. On the famous Sauchihall Street in a fine old building. Very convenient for food, the park and galleries. On the tour bus route.

When booking quite a palaver of a verification process with Superhog(eventually had to phone up) and a non-refundable damage waiver. The apartment is in the half-basement of a pretty scruffy building - the area outside and the hall and landing are fairly dismal and give a poor first impression.
