Positive section of review
The breakfast was very good, especially the fresh fruit and yogurt. Although the inn is on a main road, there is a village speed limit so entering and exiting turned out not to be a problem. And because our room was facing away from the road, it was surprisingly quiet. Plus there was a stunning view of the river and land beyond from our window. And the church in the village was so beautiful and turned out to be a wonderful venue for the staging of Curlew River. Altogether, our stay was delightful.

If I was looking for something to criticize it was the smell of frying as we came out of our room but that is presumably because the kitchen was close by. But it really was not a problem.

Have stayed here before. Service is good. Accessibility is good for my mum, food is good quality and we enjoyed that we weren't rushed for meal service etc. We love the outdoor area for sitting and having a cool drink on the warm afternoon

Bedroom and Bathroom were super clean. Breakfast was really good and tables were cleaned promptly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant both nights and food was excellent.

Thr style of the apartment was really nice. It was spacious and an all around amazing place to stay. It wasn't too far from locations that we needed to go to so walking to and from was easy.

We had some issues with the apartment. Major one is the radiator gave way and fell of the wall. Noticed it was a but slanted, but didn't think too much of it. And the other was the bathroom door. It was really. Stiff that we had to pull really hard to open it. In the end the lock fell out which I'm not sure how it happened. The double bedroom door has the same issue with stiffness and made the stay a little more awkward. These issues caused us more stress whilst we stayed worrying how to handle the situation.

The car park at the front. We had our drivers window smashed. After leaving coins in the well of the car 🥲. I would park at the rear carpark of the hotel if I was to stay again.

Brekfast was a bit basic. Unfortunately our air con wasn’t working in our room it was boiling we had to sleep with duvet off.
