Positive section of review
The room was clean and well presented. It was extremely warm upon arrival despite the radiators being off and the window open. Hotels facilities are good and its easy top get into town from there.

Pillow too soft. Breakfast was hit and miss. Staff seemed run off their feet. The cooked food was good , but the continental food was always missing and you had to ask for item's to be replenished, including basics like plates and cups.

Wasn't told about breakfast? Last time we stayed it was expensive for continental, so didn't bother this time. Is the breakfast now included because the receptionist didn't tell us? Also price compared to normal night was alot? Hike prices up with a big band playing city, bit unfair. It did the job for one night, stayed before and would stay again. Other hotels in area were more expensive, so in that respect I get it.

The host didn't message me with location/entry details until 10 minutes to midnight on the night of my arrival. I made other plans. When I spoke to the host afterwards, he agreed to tell Booking.com that the property was not used so I could be refunded but he didn't do this. He didn't reply to my chasing emails and wouldn't answer any further calls.
