The location was good and it is close to my daughter's dorm. Everything was new and I used them for the first time. When I arrived, I mistakenly entered the wrong room, as the check-in message indicated that my room was room 4. Host communication was bad.

There wasn't soap, dishwasher soap, and shampoo. The property is very close to the street because of this it was noisy. The noise isolation is weak. I could follow the guest who was working on the upper floor.

The views, how peaceful and quiet it was, very clean and came away so relaxed which is just what my partner and I needed ☺️

Light flashing on the air con at night, not enough worktop space in kitchen apart from that everything else was perfect 👌

Could have been better equipped with plates, glasses etc. Only microwave oven to heat food and no place to rinse/do dishes. Ok for one night. No working WIFI.

Room was okay for the value, no A/C but there was a small electric fan.

breakfast was most of the time empty straight away after refilling. too much people in the breakfast dining not enough space to acommodate everyone.

The hotel was centrally located and the staff at reception were nice.
Negative section of review
The hotel is terrible value for money, £183 for an overnight stay in a small dingey room with paint swatches on the walls, battered furniture and one tiny down lighter spotlight to try and get dressed under. The room was of a very poor standard and the bathroom floor was excessively slippy when even the slightest bit wet due to the shiny tiles. The hotel definitely needs a revamp. Also, at 9 o'clock the hotel staff were breaking a lock off of the neighbouring rooms door causing alot of noise and disruption. Quite poor considering check out was not far off of this time, surely this could have waited? The hotel did not have a luxe feel at all which is the impression the hotel gives online. Quite poor to have to pay £15 for parking in a hotel car park as well. The black lamp shades also are clearly a dust magnet and made the room feel quite dirty (the bedding etc was fine) but the marked furniture such as the dressing table and black carpet made it feel quite dirty and unkept.

Nice location, nice room size, clean, good shower.

Everything was up to standard. It felt expensive but that goes with the time of year and location I guess.

Comfy bed, quite big that I am used to

Not cleaned properly. Some lights were missing or did not work. The bathroom had a broken tile and not a functioning shampoo dispenser, some rest stains of a missing anti slip mat.

No parking is available even though the details suggest that there is - all parking nearby is residents permits only - we spent almost an hour trying to park!
