Location was excellent. The cafe not opening until 9am though meant it was quite late to have a breakfast, particularly if you are an early riser. Apart from the Petrol Station which has a Spar supermarket and opened at 8am no where else opened before 9am. Would recommend the Lock Inn for food in the evening. Good location and excellent food.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The light in the room though to illumuniate the door in the room during darkness, I assume the emergency light, was far too bright. Very difficult to sleep due to the luminous green shining in the dark. Ended up buying an eye mask from a local shop!

Perfect location - I think it's the nearest hotel to the Dockyard. It's also near one of the train stations. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but we ate in The Greene King pub which was practically next door. It was very clean too.

The breakfast was a disappointment. The first day the scrambled eggs were dry, as they didn't use enough milk, or maybe they were overcooked. Worst of all, the fried bread had clearly been deep fried and it was just like biting into a sponge that was sodden with oil. I didn't like the bacon, so they offered me more (go figure) - I said I couldn't eat what I did have and why on earth would I want more! The tomatoes were tinned. And it all came with a choice of instant coffee or tea. Of course, I had the tea, but it meant my holiday got off to a really bad start, as fresh coffee and a good breakfast are the most important things before a long day of sightseeing. This is not a cheap place to stay and I think I had every right to expect a decent breakfast for my money. I certainly won't stay there again when I return to see more of the dockyard.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were helpful. It was very convenient for Paddington Station. For a central London hotel, it was great value for money.

The breakfast was very basic.

This was a really cosy and lovely stay, a short drive from the airport, great for a group staying together the night before a holiday.

Far toooooooooo hot! Wow! It was like a sauna. I would hate to stay here in the height of the summer. The rooms have very dark interior, which is great for a cosy feel. However, getting ready on the morning was not ideal for doing hair and make up as the lighting was shocking, there was no table and chair and no mirror near a socket.

In room number 9 which was in the eaves - hardly room to stand and shower was squeezed into a corner whereby showering properly was impossible
