The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Excellent location with regard to view and peace and quiet. Good for us because we like walking. The approach has a sloping farm road so anyone with a car needs to check it’s not too low…or go steady. I know and love the area. Had great walks over the opposite side of the valley, up Stoodley Pike. Local bus from Todmorden back to Hebden Bridge is useful as is Hebden to Blackshaw Head. However, any walkers need to look carefully at the map when planning. If you have a car there are so many excellent places to visit….in a ride and then walk plan. There is the potential for a fire or bbq…although we didn’t have chance but this must always be done sensibly because of breezes, location etc.

It didn’t bother us but for anyone planning to prepare a huge meal, the facilities don’t allow it. It’s possible to do basics and microwave…that’s fine. Dine in town for flexibility in the evening.

The most wonderfully peaceful place we've stayed. Y Llofft offers wonderful peace and privacy, all to the sound of birdsong and the sight of gamboling lambs. Jo gave a lovely, friendly welcome and we felt right at home in her beautiful, spotless property. The kitchen was equipped with a lot of thought and there was everything we could have needed.

Only downside was the sloping ceilings - I'm tall for a woman and my neck might not have enjoyed a longer stay! Fine for 2 nights though and worth it for the view.

The place is close to Paddington Station, lots of restaurants nearby. The receptionist Flabio is very helpful cheerful and polite, so the breakfast staff. Thank you Balmoral Hotel staff for the great hospitality you have given us. 😀

Very quiet in spite of being on the airport site. Fantastic soundproofing. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Decent breakfast, helpful staff.

Some people with a lot of large luggage might struggle in the restricted space of the room. We travel light so were fine.

Only minor but didn’t think some of the furniture fitted in with the period property . Originally booked for 3 but 3rd person couldn’t make it but noticed outside furniture only caters for 2 as 2 chairs
