Everything was great - location excellent - next to Portobello Road - lovely street with great gastronomy, 400m from undeground station, and the host was very helpful when I had a personal request. There was a 2 beds and great mattress automatically inflated for an additional person. The bedding was beautifully scented In the kitchen was everything I needed - pots, pans, glasses, plates, liquids, salt, sugar, oil, pepper etc. In the bathroom was the same - high quality towels. The building, apartament and everything inside was new, modern and perfect clean,

My second visit to Saucy Mary's and in all honesty, you do get what you pay for. It's not bad but it's not fantastic either. Our room this time was 200 yards from the main building, in a converted house in which we had the top floor with little head room. I found the Bed comfy though. This also meant a shared bathroom, last year we had a much better room with our own bathroom. Reception staff and bar staff are extremely good. Food was good in the bar too for dinner time, breakfast not so great options available

The location for the purpose of my trip was great. The surrounding of the hotel is lovely and peaceful so you don’t get noise from traffic. The staff on the arrival and at the breakfast was very friendly. The room was the best bit. I was doing the balmoral races so it was exactly what I needed. Small cosy and warm, with great shower. Big enough for me to stretch. Comfortable bed to rest. It was just great.

We did have a problem with the air conditioning/ heating system. The reception staff said there was a problem in the whole hotel. In fact a works team were booked to start updating the system in all the rooms while we were there.

The door handle digital lock was awful to use. Couldn't see the numbers to enter the code on arrival due to the sun, It's even difficult to see at night. Outside area needs tidying, not a good first impression. Inside requires a few paint retouching.
