Location was excellent, it's a beautiful area with the River Colwyn over the road. The owners were welcoming with a nice welcome pack of goodies, cooking facilities were good, comfortable lounge and dining areas.

A good location for exploring the area, the house was very clean and had very good amenities. Communication was excellent. Keys in a coded lock-box so entry was easy. Convenient parking space.

The bed frame is too big for the bedroom to the point that getting in and out of bed was a pain... and definitely needs replacing. The TV is great except that there's no terrestrial TV. Not sure why as there's an aerial socket, so why not buy a cable for less than £10 and connect the TV to it? There was no physical welcome pack so no info about the bins/area/etc and the link to the digital WP wouldn't work. Needs sorting. Just small things really which if/when sorted will probably rank this house close to a 10 in my opinion.

A quirkey historical old pub with lots of charm. The location near the harbour is excellent. It had a great outlook and was close to places of interest, as well as many and varied eateries.

It's easy to accept the design and construction issues that come with a historic building, but the bed, or at least the matress, was due for an update.

Lovely pub, the staff were friendly. The food was good with a good choice on the menu. The bedroom was lovely and clean and a good size. Nice bathroom

Unfortunately we were kept awake most of the night. We were in room 10, which is above the public toilets and we could hear the hand dryers and it was a busy so they were in constant use until late. There was a fan humming loudly all night which we assume was coming from the kitchen below. I think if you stay in rooms 1 to 9 this wouldn't be an issue, but rooms 10 and 11 were definitely not in an ideal location above the pub.

Bistro was so much better than we were expecting. Our room was excellent, large, comfortable and the triple glazing meant it was quiet too.
