Great room, very comfortable. The only down side was it was very noisey until late from the pubs/restaurants opposite the hotel. The breakfast selection was one of the best we have experienced. My husband was thrilled to be able to have crumpets. I wish we had more time there so we could have checked out the spa.

it was clean and the kitchenette was clean too. The bathroom was missing body wash and shampoo but they brought it for me upon requesting. The only issue is that they don't let you check in after 6pm. That can be a deal breaker in some situations. They gave fans in both rooms.

the fact that check-in was only until 6pm. So in case i was delayed because of traffic or some other unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't stay the night in the room that I paid for. Also there was only a ceiling window in the room and it did get a bit claustrophobic for my toddler.

A lovely self contained area. Whilst it is adjoined to the house you have your own access. The room has everything you need and there is a lovely coastal footpath walk into town. Highly recommended, many thanks Martin. 👍

The breakfast was ok although we did have to wait a while I The evening meal the night before was fantastic some of the best food we have had in a while. was also tempted for all 3 courses it was so good.

Although internet was advertised and was in the room booklets it was next to useless. I sent a message to my daughter and she received it 10 hours later. As for trying to access google etc it was impossible I generally stay around 100 nights a year in hotels for work + others for pleasure normally at breakfast there is some form of cold buffet with breads/meats/yogurts/cerials etc but here no options apart from menu options. My wife chose the toasted breakfast which should come with one of the main course options. She chose this as she didn't want sausage. However was not asked what options she wanted and it arrived with 3 sausages in all larger than the single sausage on my traditional breakfast. bedroom quite small and slight issue with eaves in as my wife banged her head on them a couple of times

What's not to love. Everything was superb; location (central Bristol), room size and comfort, staff friendliness and, service, bar and breakfast, all exceeded our expectations

The only minor niggle we had, was that we couldn't turn all the room lamps on or off individually. It was all or nothing!

Breakfast was typical Breakfast Buffet with a big choice. Town centre is 50 yds away. Very nice rooftop bar next door. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom big enough.

We missed bedside table on one side of the bed. There was a space for it, so it is a shame it was not there. We have been given room on top floor with a lot of steep steps. There is no lift, which we understand, it is a old mazelike building with a character. However, we would have appreciated offer of help with the suitcase as I was traveling with my son only which was clear not only from the booking. And we have struggled with the suitcase.

Bed dipped. Room was a bit tired. One shutter wouldn't rise. Could do with a touch of paint here and there, it's looks tired. But for the price and location we accepted this, as we weren't in the room much.

The dark decor of the restaurant area, corridors and bedrooms. Especially didn’t like the red lighting in the restaurant at breakfast time.
