Positive section of review
The facilities were clean and the shower was great. The rooms are very small for a family of 3 adults and a baby. We could have been advised on arrival that there was a possibility of booking another room for extra adult and/or couple and baby. The air-conditioning was great. Admittedly we had a lot of luggage which restricted the space even further but the beds were comfortable. The location is very near Victoria Station. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist us up the four flights of stairs. In that regard, maybe we could have been given a room on the ground floor or first floor. If on my own would stay again for a short stay. Accommodation was limited on booking.com for that period.

Family given a room on the second floor with four flights of stairs to negotiate. No room for luggage in the room for a family. A little shabby in the foyer and could have been decorated a little more brightly.

The property was very clean and pretty. The bed was very cozy and as a struggled sleeper, I had no problem with it. It was way better than most hotels I’ve been to. The kitchen had the essentials to make tea coffee which we appreciated. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The key to the front door was very difficult to use and we had to fiddle with it a lot until another visitor helped us figure it out. When we called the customer service, they did try to help us giving specific instructions but they didn’t work. They also mentioned other people that stay struggle with it so surely they should change it.

Although the property is close to the centre of Camborne, the chalet is at the far end of the garden. Local beaches are close at hand and there is easy access to St Ives and other towns.

Great hotel room on ground floor so had a outside seating area by the lake with the ducks and swans and had a king size bed which was lovely

Breakfast was a bit chaotic as had to call someone to take our English breakfast order or would still be waiting and asked for a poached egg that was rock hard which wasn't ideal but other than that the food was nice

Yes new rooms but cobwebs everywhere, some died spiders and also living ones, bathroom there was some kind of sticky stuff all on the ties, no pressure in the shower, no hair dryer even though stated on the list of what the room came with. Card to put on the lights didn’t always stay in this was not a £70 a night hotel more of a £40 per night room
