  Location was great, right in the centre and close to lots of local amenities. Host (Laura) is fantastic, extremely professional and always on hand to help or answer any questions! If you want to step out the door and be right next to some of Sheffields best bars and restaurants, this is absoultley the place for you.

  Fabulous location, just a small walk to the Royal Mile. The beds were really comfy, and the kitchen had everything needed for your stay. Much Better than the pictures and I would strongly recommend the host update the images on Booking, the bedroom had two double beds and the living room had a sofabed

  Good location and friendly staff. Good bedside light. Bed was very comfortable. The window opened to allow air flow. Despite being above the bar it wasn't too noisy. The kettle in the room was good.

  The shower and bathroom was cramped and a bit old fashioned but it did the job. The television was too small to watch from the bed. You either walk through the pub behind the bar to access the rooms or down a back alleyway which is not lit up and rough under foot. The stairs are steep and you have to be careful not to bump your head.

  The cottage was good size and had all the amenities we need for a short stay in the Lakes. There’s a wee path to walk to Grasmere village and it’s amazing to be in a beautiful yet so convenient location.

  Collecting keys at night for the first time can be a challenge. Make the instructions clearer stating the keys will be in a lock boxing hanging on the gate. I was more looking for a box on the wall on the right side of the gate.
